Alma Irene Parham, 83, of Keymar, formerly of Sykesville, died Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Carroll Hospital Center.
Born January 11, 1930, in Canton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Minnie Flowers Clement. She was the wife of the late Paul R. Parham who died in 2001.
She was a retired nurses aide having worked for Brook Grove Nursing Home.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing Bingo and going to yard sales. She always looked forward to seeing her grandchildren.
Surviving are children and spouses, Donald C. Parham, Ronald E. and Patricia Parham, Patricia L. Keller and Dexter P. and Donna Parham and daughter-in-law Nancy Parham. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by son Phillip Parham, daughter Darlene Parham, daughter-in-law Betty Buchanan a brother and a sister.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Massey officiating. Interment will be held at 1:00 pm in True Gospel Cemetery, Lisbon on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pritts Funeral Home, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster, MD 21157, to help defray funeral expenses.
