Doris Marie Green, 84, of Taneytown, formerly of Westminster, died Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Carroll Hospital Center.
Born on August 17, 1928 in Baltimore County, she was the daughter of the late Henry H., Sr. and Ada Frances Turnbaugh Whitcomb. She was the wife of the late William D. Green who died in 1985.
She was a homemaker and an avid Baltimore Orioles and Ravens fan. She enjoyed word find puzzles.
Surviving her are son Stephen D. Green and wife Darlene of Westminster; daughters Diane M. Hinkle and husband Jack of Taneytown and Dawn C. Duff and husband Nathan of Westminster; brother Henry H. Whitcomb, Jr. of Glen Rock, PA; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers Robert and Earl Whitcomb and sister Evelyn I. Mann.
A private interment was held in Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Rev. Brenda Shields officiating.
